Findlay High School Athletic Physicals for 2016-2017 school year
-May 18, 2015 @ 5:00pm - 6:15pm  Findlay High School Gyms
-Cost $10.00 per student athlete. Checks made out to Findlay Trojan Club
-Current 9th-11th will go to the High School Main gym
-Parents must have ALL portions of the first page of athletic physical filled out and signed prior to seeing      the doctor. No other forms from the required extracurricular packet will be accepted.  All other forms will be handled digitally for the 2016-17 school year.  More information to follow.

Unfortunately Bath cannot get a bus tonight so we are going to have to cancel Freshman baseball!
Cabaret, featuring Findlay First Edition(FFE) 2nd Runner up in the Nation, get your tickets now! Cabaret will be held at Findlay High School R.L. Heminger Auditorium tonight, May 6th at 7:30 PM and Saturday, May 7th at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Tickets on sale May 2-5 in the FHS auditorium lobby from 3:00-6:00 PM. Also available before each show. $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

Previous announcements
Exam Schedules are now available in the Main Office and SAC Office.  If you are not scheduled for any exams on a given day and would like to be excused during that time,  the Exam form must be completed with Parent signature for the absence to be excused.  Please check with your appropriate attendance aid with any questions.

Attention Seniors:  Please be sure to return your blue scholarship and transcript sheet to the SAC office by the end of school on Friday, May 9.  This will ensure that you are recognized and included in the printed program at the Senior Awards Night AND that your final FHS transcript is sent to the appropriate place.  If you have lost the blue form, received additional scholarships, or take English via CCP and never received a blue form, see your guidance counselor to get yours!  Remember, Friday, May 06,  is the deadline for Awards Night recognition!!!!!!!!!!!!
Attention Off Campus CCP Students for 2015-2016:  If you attend Owens Community College, submit any receipts of textbooks and/or your textbooks used to Mrs. Brasfield in the library ASAP or by May 13, 2016.  If you attend the University of Findlay or other institutions, ensure that your textbook gets returned as required by the specific college when you registered for classes. Note: You/your family may be charged for any book not returned properly or, if for any reason, you choose to keep your textbook. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.
It's time to nominate any employee of Findlay City Schools who works with Findlay High School students (teachers, secretaries, aides, custodians, cafeteria workers, coaches, bus drivers, etc.) for the "Trojan of the Year" award!  Forms are available in the SAC Office or attached to this email. They must be submitted to Mr. Imke in the SAC office by May 16, 2016.  BE SURE TO NOMINATE YOUR CHOICE FOR "TROJAN OF THE YEAR"!
Attention Juniors: The 2016 Flag City Balloonfest Ambassador Scholarship is now available. This scholarship is available to Juniors only (class of 2017) and awards two recipients with a $1,000.00 scholarship. Applicants must be a resident of Hancock county, maintain a minimum of a 3.25 GPA, and submit an essay. Applications are available online at www.flagcityballoonfest.org<http://www.flagcityballoonfest.org> or in the SAC office and are due by May 31, 2016 to: Flag City Balloonfest 1951 W. Sandusky Street Findlay, OH 45840. Questions or concerns, see your counselor.

May 17 - Salsa and Study after school-4p.m.! Teachers from the Math, Foreign Language, & English depts. will be here. You can and have chips & salsa while you study. Bring your own beverage and bring your friends!
May 18 - Senior textbooks due!
May 19 - Cakes and Cram after school-4p.m.! Teachers from the Social Studies, Science, Art/Music, and Millstream will be here. Pancakes provided by Findlay Hancock County Public Library. Bring your own beverage and bring your friends!
May 20 - (Or after your final exams) ALL textbooks due for grades 9-11.
We will have an organizational meeting for all students that want to play JV or Varsity Hockey for the 2016/17 season. The meeting will be on Wednesday, May 18th at 6 PM,  (allow 1 hour for the meeting ) at the Cube conference room. Please be there on time and if you cannot make it I need you to let me know and include your current email address and cell phone number. Also put the date down of June 11th , Findlay High School is having the Trojan Trot and we will be working at this event. More to come later. Thanks   GO TROJANS !  OUR TIME !

SENIORS - Library books are due May 13. Textbooks are due to the library May 18. Don't be surprised by a bill at graduation practice-turn your books in on time!
Prom is May 14th, 2016. 8:00pm to 11:00pm. Tickets will be available May 4th - May13th during high school lunch in the cafeteria and after school outside the SAC office.  Tickets are $20.00 for guest (from another school) or Juniors.  $10.00 for Seniors ($20.00 for their guest as well if from another school).  FHS Student ID and guest forms are required to purchase a prom ticket. REMINDER:  All past years fees must be paid to purchase a prom ticket.  Please see your secretary for fee information.

Schedule Your Senior Portrait Photo Session Now!
Your senior year is quickly approaching, and that means you will be getting your senior portrait taken.  We encourage you to have your senior photo taken this spring/summer so you will not have any problem meeting the October 31, 2016, yearbook deadline.  If you are not able to have your photo taken during the summer, at least make the appointment during the summer so that your photo can be taken in plenty of time to meet the deadline.  Scheduling early may mean big discounts from your professional photographer!
All images must be 2 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" high and a 300 dpi color digital file in the sRGB colorspace.  After August 1, 2016, submit your photo to www.hjeshare.com<http://www.hjeshare.com> and enter the school code: 3061398.
