A SPIRIT BUS will also be organized for any student wishing to travel with the school. This bus will be chaperoned by staff members. Cost to ride the bus is $20 and will include a playoff t-shirt and game ticket. Students must sign up by 2:30 p.m. on Thursday and a minimum of 30 students are needed for the bus to be possible. GO TROJANS!!
Attention Seniors: You will be receiving green passes to see Mrs. Marshall regarding names on Diplomas. The first step in the graduation process has begun. Please see Mrs. Marshall upon receiving a green pass or as soon as possible between classes for Diploma information.

Pre-Sale tickets for Friday night's Findlay High School Div. I playoff game will be on sale in the high school athletic office on Wednesday, Nov. 2 and Thursday, Nov. 3 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4. Tickets will also be on sale at Trends during business hours on Wednesday and Thursday and until noon on Friday. The game will be held at Dublin Jerome High School located at 8300 Hyland-Croy Road in Dublin, Ohio and game time is 7:30 p.m.
Attention Sophomores: Remember to register for the Pre-ACT being held at FHS this Saturday from 8:00 until 11:30 AM. The Pre- ACT is a good practice for the real ACT that you will take as juniors. It will also provide you valuable feedback regarding possible careers and your academic achievement relative to other sophomores around the State and Country. Cost of the test is $16.00 and you can register in the SAC Office with Ms. Inbody. See your counselor if you have questions regarding Saturday's Pre-ACT.
Attention Seniors: This week's college visits include: Cincinnati Christian at 10:00 and Eastern Michigan at 1:00, both on Wednesday, November 2. Mt. Union will have an admissions representative here at 9:00 on Friday, November 4. In addition, BGSU will hold an "Instant Decision" day at FHS on Thursday, November 3. Simply inform your guidance counselor if you want to apply to BGSU and they will arrange a meeting with the BG admissions rep. and provide you a transcript so you are able to be admitted that same day. As always, see your counselor if you would like a pass to meet with any school rep. that visits FHS.
FHS Academic Booster Club's Outback fundraiser is November 7, 8 or 9. Please help ABC sell 150 tickets! Contact Judy Withrow (419-425-8296 or jwithrow at fcs.org<mailto:jwithrow at fcs.org>) if you would like adult or children's tickets. Adult tickets are $15 for steak/chicken and all the trimmings, including dessert, and children's meals are $5 for chicken tenders/fries or large mac and cheese. ABC keeps $11.50 of every adult meal and $3 for every child's meal. Hopefully, over $1000 will be raised to encourage academics at FHS.
Students, you have the opportunity to attend a career exploration day hosted by the Explorers program of Hancock County. This event is being held at StoneCo and the Shelly Company on November 8th. Findlay High School has 15 seats available for this exploring day. While at the event you will get the chance to mingle with local professionals and learn about careers and jobs within our community. We hope to leave around 8:30am and return by 11:00am. If you would like to participate in this great opportunity please sign up at: http://BIT.LY/fhscareerform . Students must have all required emergency forms submitted via Final Forms, the permission slip, and the exploring form turned in to attend. Junior Statesmen of America (JSA), a service-learning club at FHS, is offering to rake and take your leaves for a donation. On November 12, 2016 and November 19, 2016. Please call Sarah Abraham, president of JSA, and set up a time for Rake and Take: 419-889-2481 or Judy Withrow, 419-425-8296. Donations go to support the African project in Tanga, Tanzania.
There will be an organizational meeting for all players and their parents interested in Findlay High School hockey this winter on Thursday, November 3, at 6:00 p.m. at The Cube.
Reminder, ALL STUDENTS (9-12) must register and complete their Emergency Medical Forms on FinalForms online program. Parent Teacher Conference Schedule for 2016 - 2017
You will want to mark your calendar now for the dates of Parent-Teacher Conferences for 2016-2017

Tuesday, October 4, Thursday, December 8, February 23, and May 4 are the four dates for conferences. Conferences begin at 3:30 and go until 7:30. There will be no conferences scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 for a dinner break.

IMPORTANT SENIOR PORTRAIT, SENIOR SALUTATION, SIBLING, AND 2016-2017 YEARBOOK INFORMATION
Your senior year is quickly approaching, and that means you will be getting your senior portrait taken. We encourage you to have your senior photo taken this summer so you will not have any problem meeting the October 31, 2016, yearbook deadline. If you are not able to have your photo taken during the summer, at least make the appointment during the summer so that your photo can be taken in plenty of time to meet the deadline. NOTE: Any senior student that does not submit a professional photo with the correct dimensions by the due date will have their school ID photo used in the senior section. All images must be 2 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" high and a 300 dpi color digital file in the sRGB colorspace. Submit your photo to www.hjeshare.com<http://www.hjeshare.com> and enter the school code: 3061398. Also note that the deadline to order a Senior Salutation is March 17, 2017. You can express friendship, love, or congratulations to that special senior student in your life with a colored personal ad in the yearbook. You may design and pay for your congratulations message starting August 1, 2016, by logging on to: www.YearbookOrderCenter.com<http://www.YearbookOrderCenter.com>, code 13778. You can then select the desired size and personalize the ad with your own message and photo(s). Ad information prices and sizes include: ½ page for $150, ¼ page for $90, 1/8 page for $55. If you prefer, the yearbook staff can design the Senior Salutation for you.
