Sports practices will be allowed to be held after 3:00 p.m. today at FHS but athletes are asked to bring their own water bottles. Coaches will let teams know of their schedules.
Junior Statesmen of America (JSA) is selling Texas Roadhouse gift cards in $15, $25 and $50 increments. JSA will make 10% on each card sold (for example, $15 equals $1.50). JSA's project this year to help people in Tanzania, Africa by supporting a medical camp.  Thousands of people will benefit from seeing a doctor at this camp.  Please contact a JSA member or Judy Withrow, advisor, at 419-425-8296 (jwithrow at fcs.org<mailto:jwithrow at fcs.org>), if interested.  Due date is November 28.

Are you STRESSED? Come to the library on Wednesday, November 16, after school and learn how to relax and destress. Snacks, tea, and a variety of stations will be available for you to learn different techniques to gain peace of mind and body. Make a stress relief ball, color, laugh, and more! See Mrs. Brasfield, Ms. Coulter, or Mrs. Geaman if you have questions!
Findlay High School and Main Office will be CLOSED from November 21st through November 25th.

Parent Teacher Conference are Thursday, December 8, please contact Sherry Grieser at 419-427-5412, or email sgrieser at fcs.org<mailto:sgrieser at fcs.org>. for appointments., for conferences. Conferences begin at 3:30 and go until 7:30. There will be no conferences scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 for a dinner break.
ATTENTION SENIORS:  A representative from Jostens will be here on Wednesday, November 30th , and meet with all Seniors regarding graduation cap, gown, tassel, medallion and announcements.  Packets will be sent home with all Seniors.
Attention Seniors:  You will be receiving green passes to see Mrs. Marshall regarding names on Diplomas.  The first step in the graduation process has begun.  Please see Mrs. Marshall upon receiving a green pass or as soon as possible between classes for Diploma information.

The Music Technology classes of FHS will be sponsoring a school-wide concert on December 16 called Reverberation.  Reverberation is a concert of popular music, and auditions are open to any FHS student.  Auditions will be held November 14 and 15 from 3:00-5:00 in the choir room.  For more information, talk to any music technology student or Mr. Manley.  The sign up list for auditions will outside the choir room.

"FREE dental care for students 18 and under on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio. Must complete registration form by January 20, 2017. Space is limited so stop by the main office and pick up a registration form today!"
Junior Statesmen of America (JSA), a service-learning club at FHS, is offering to rake and take your leaves for a donation. On November 12, 2016 and November 19, 2016. Please call Sarah Abraham, president of JSA, and set up a time for Rake and Take: 419-889-2481 or Judy Withrow, 419-425-8296. Donations go to support the African project in Tanga, Tanzania.

2016-2017 FHS HIGHLIGHT videos are back, if you would like to submit photos for possible display in a weekly highlight video, please send them to findlayhightrojans at gmail.com<mailto:findlayhightrojans at gmail.com>. When you walk-in the student parking entrance of FHS, you will see the weekly highlight video displayed daily on a large screen TV. Please be sure to check it out! New FHS Highlight video created weekly!!


Your senior year is quickly approaching, and that means you will be getting your senior portrait taken.  We encourage you to have your senior photo taken this summer so you will not have any problem meeting the October 31, 2016, yearbook deadline.  If you are not able to have your photo taken during the summer, at least make the appointment during the summer so that your photo can be taken in plenty of time to meet the deadline.  NOTE:  Any senior student that does not submit a professional photo with the correct dimensions by the due date will have their school ID photo used in the senior section.   All images must be 2 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" high and a 300 dpi color digital file in the sRGB colorspace.  Submit your photo to www.hjeshare.com<http://www.hjeshare.com> and enter the school code: 3061398. Also note that the deadline to order a Senior Salutation is March 17, 2017.  You can express friendship, love, or congratulations to that special senior student in your life with a colored personal ad in the yearbook.  You may design and pay for your congratulations message starting August 1, 2016, by logging on to:  www.YearbookOrderCenter.com<http://www.YearbookOrderCenter.com>, code 13778.  You can then select the desired size and personalize the ad with your own message and photo(s).  Ad information prices and sizes include:  ½ page for $150, ¼ page for $90, 1/8 page for $55. If you prefer, the yearbook staff can design the Senior Salutation for you.  You can either e-mail the photos and text to be included to (rrinker at findlaycityschools.org<mailto:rrinker at findlaycityschools.org>) or bring in the photos and text to be included to (Room 104). We will also have a Siblings section in the yearbook.  The Sibling photo must include a current senior plus a sibling(s) that are currently enrolled at Findlay High School.  Please either e-mail the photo to Mrs. Rinker or drop it off to Room 104 no later than April 14, 2017.
